Local jeweler Liza Sonia has two upcoming trunk shows, just in time for the holidays. She’ll be at the DAI (Designers: Artists: Innovators) Style Lounge fashion show and shopping event on Dec. 10 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Bently Reserve, 301 Battery St., San Francisco. She’ll also hold a Boutique Holiday Sale every Saturday this month from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at her flagship store in Montclair, Oakland, located at 6127 La Salle Ave.

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Liza Sonia Wallach says her designs are inspired by her international travel and multinational upbringing. She launched her eponymous in 2003 with the Heaven necklace, made of opalite with a black mother of pearl feather pendant.

Wallach also started Designers with Heart, a community-giving program in which 10 to 20 percent of sales are donated to a cause of the designers’ choice. So you can look good, feel good and do good all at at the same time.
